Puck Project, February 2018 http://pub.lucidpress.com/adfbb283-4ebb-434d-8091-550319f55a48/#zjATJplv1WsI In history, we studied the changes of the 1920’s and created an issue of Puck magazine with satirical articles and drawings about the politics, culture and conflicts of the time. This project fits within the pillar of “Investigate the World” because we conducted research about the history of the United States. Furthermore, the Puck Project supported the concept of this pillar by making me think in the way that people would have at the time, so I learned even more about the period. This source addresses my overarching question because it shows that even during a movement that advocated for social progress, Native Americans were still overlooked and scrutinized like other groups considered “other”.
